NC52MP

In response to a market in search for compact electronics, Hypex was tasked with creating a more compact version of the well-known mains powered NCORE® modules.

Sizing down the technology without making sacrifices on performance required use of modern parts, smart design and optimization. 

For the power supply, a change of topology was required to match the desired footprint. A quasi-resonant flyback topology was chosen for its advantages in efficiency even at low and medium loads. Optimizing the flyback for peak performance was a challenge, but successful after all.

The result is the NC52MP, a compact no-compromise module, with low losses, requiring no additional heatsink.
