A multichannel amplifier controls multiple amplifier channels in one enclosure. Common seen multichannel amplifiers feature 4, 8, 16 or even 24 channels. Preferable a multichannel amplifier will carry only one power supply, sometimes due to the amount of channels or the required power a multichannel amplifier can carry two or more power supplies.
